There are a lot of moments within my practice that I have always wanted to share, but have never really known how.
The moments of heartbreak, of confusion, of success, of joy, and of the mundane middle ground. These moments capture what it means to be in active kinship with poisonous plants, and when I am asked about my practice - they are always the stories I reach for first.
There is an intimacy when I speak of these relationships, just as there is an intimacy within receiving a postcard in the mail.
I see this project as a way to welcome you into this space to question, to explore, to be curious and to hold kinship for the poisonous in our lives. I'm excited to go on this journey with you.
Members will receive a handwritten postcard once per month.
Subject matter will vary from studio experiments, foraging observations, facts, love, mistakes, and more. There will always be text, and sometimes photos and drawings will be included.
I have no intention of sharing this material in any other format, from social media to my website. These cards are just from me to you.
Postcards are shipped via Canada Post on the 10th of every month. The first monthly postcard club will be sent on August 10th!
